Dustin Hendrick is a writer and filmmaker. He writes fiction, nonfiction, and screenplays.

His first publication is The Endless M, a collection of autobiographical essays from Rose Books.

In 2023 he was the recipient of an Oregon Literary Fellowship in fiction.

His short fiction and essays have been published in literary journals including The Write Launch, Sepia Quarterly, and Beyond Queer Words.

His sun sign is Libra, which makes him sound too nice.

He is fond of cats, gag reels, and a dirty martini.

He lives in Portland, Oregon with his husband Nathan, an artist and filmmaker.

In summer 2023 he will co-direct a film adaptation of his short story, Out of View, with said husband.

He is currently at work on a novel, a short story collection, and several screen projects. He should probably just pick one and finish it.
